By the time this report is printed, we will be in our eighth year. We still play at Norton & Lenchwick village hall off Kings Road Norton. The hall is very spacious and has good facilities including a large car park. We play the second & fourth Thursdays of the month throughout the year. At the present time we have a few places available for the afternoon session 2pm till 4pm. The game of bowls is very easy to play and needs very little energy. However, you do need to be able to bend your back, and get down fairly easy. We have a selection of different size bowls to suit everyone, and apart from a pair of flat shoes for walking on the mat everything is supplied. We have a chat and a laugh and nobody takes it too seriously, and coaching can be given. Halfway through the session we have a break for a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit, so come along and try it.
