We visited nine shows in the period May to July varying from a big band concert, the last night of the proms from the Evesham Music Festival, two very good plays but the most outstanding show during this time was Half a Sixpence presented by the youth section of the Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society at the Swan. The talent and boundless enthusiasm we a joy to see and left everyone with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.
The programme line up from September to December includes 3 plays, 2 comedies and three musicals and we shall visit Evesham, Pershore, Malvern, Worcester, Redditch, Broadway and Salford Priors. I can accept a few more people in the group but as we have a full quota of non drivers already any new members would need to be able to use their own transport.
