Notes

On 2 Mondays a month, a group of us bring along our musical instruments and play music together. Some of us are relative beginners, while others have been musicians all of our lives. We find playing in front of an audience quite stressful so we try to avoid doing that! However, we did perform at the Evesham U3A December 2010 concert, when we performed a 15 minutes programme where we we well received.

The music we like to play most is popular music from the 1930s to 1960, although we do play a smattering of "classical" music. Our group has now grown to 13 players - flute, 4 clarinets, 3 saxophones, trumpet, tenor horn, baritone horn, trombones and piano! We would welcome new players, particularly those playing flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, or tuba.
