We were all sad to hear of the death in December of Carrie John, who founded this group very early in the U3A's existence and led it for a number of years. Our sympathy goes out to her family and friends.
We were afraid that the group might have trouble surviving the loss of such an experienced leader, but we are glad to say that Liz and Graham Cudd (831233) will keep a regular table going in Badsey, meeting on the same basis as before.
In addition, Jean Taylor has come forward as a potential leader in Evesham, willing to talk to anyone interested and to hold meetings in her home in the centre of town.
