Gardens

During the summer we have enjoyed outings arranged by members of the Gardens Group.
In May we went round the lovely gardens at Little Malvern Court and our June visit was to Bob Brown’s nursery in Badsey Lane, where there is much of interest. In July we met the head gardener at the Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway, who gave us a talk on the history of the hotel, followed by a tour of the 7 acre garden and tea and biscuits in the hotel.
In September we had a coach trip to Kyrewood, a delightful privately owned garden in the depths of the Herefordshire countryside, after which we went on to Burford House at Bourton on the Hill to see the gardens and the exhibitions in the house itself .
We are now looking forward to a very varied winter programme of speakers: we have vacancies and new members are always welcome.
